Softland City was originally conceived as an imprint offering limited runs of artfully made cassette and cd-r releases.
Hence, it was first referred to as the Softland City Cassette & CD-R Co., or SC4.
However, in practice our attention has been more directed towards creating music rather than releasing it.
Therefore, Softland City can be thought of as an umbrella under which a number of affiliated acts are grouped.
